Ex-Boyzone member Shane Lynch and US rally driver Ken Block had a smashing time in Broadstairs last week.
The world-famous pair were in Albion Street to film a scene in the Greek Taverna restaurant.
Shane, who appeared in reality TV show Love Island, and Ken smashed plates in the eatery for the advert and also shattered a mirror.
Owner John Caites said: "It was quite an experience having them come down to the restaurant.
"They smashed plates and also filmed a watermelon. It must be a comedy advert - it was all very strange.
"Overall they were there for about 10 hours, they needed a traditional-looking Greek restaurant and ours was exactly that.
"They smashed a mirror too and signed it. We fed them dinner and then they left.
"You wouldn't have thought they were famous, they were really normal and just having a laugh."
