A number of stores at a Kent shopping centre have been unable to open today due to flooding caused by the heavy rain overnight.
A clear-up operation took place at Westwood Cross in Broadstairs with most shops now open for business, while a few are still clearing up with the hope of reopening tomorrow.
Francesca Donovan, centre manager, says it was caused by last night's heavy rainfall.
"There are just a few stores that are still working hard to reopen, including Claire’s, Coffee Corner, EE and H Samuel," she said.
"Waterstones is open for Click and Collect only. We are so proud of our amazing staff, and colleagues in the stores for all their hard work”
