Strictly Come Dancing judge Len Goodman has stepped out in Margate to film his latest TV show.
He visited the Isle with journalist Eve Pollard for an episode of Holiday of My Lifetime, which offers a celebrity guest the chance to relive their childhood summer holidays.
The pair spent time in Dreamland while Eve reminisced about her 1950s summer holidays in the town.
Mr Goodman said: "It's been a real joy revisiting the wonderful UK for this second series with personalities from across TV, radio and sport, reliving some of their humorous and heart-warming memories.
"This series showcases the fun of a traditional summer holiday, harkening back to times when the simple things - like the smell of fish and chips or a bucket and spade – made all the difference to a child. What makes this experience even more special is that we get to share it with our viewers."
On Margate's main sands they read Girl magazine, the publication that started Eve on the road to becoming Britain’s first female editor of a national newspaper.
The show also explores Margate's holidaying history, mixing archive footage with insights from local historians and fellow holidaygoers.
Cabinet member for corporate governance services Councillor Derek Crow-Brown said: "Margate has a colourful history as a popular holiday destination for the British public and I’m sure this episode will evoke fond memories for many people.
"The 50s was a booming time for Britain and, of course, Margate with its wonderful attractions such as the beautiful coastline and Dreamland which continue to charm residents and visitors today."
The show is due to be broadcast on Wednesday, February 24, on BBC1 at 3.45pm.
