Suspect appears in court after man stabbed ‘with pitchfork’ in Hurst Grove, Ramsgate

A suspect has appeared in court charged in connection with a serious assault understood to involve a pitchfork.
Police were called to Hurst Grove in Ramsgate shortly after 7am on Sunday following a report that a man had sustained injuries including a stab wound.
The victim was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.
KentOnline understands he was stabbed through the cheek with a pitchfork.
Detectives have arrested four men and two women in connection with the incident and inquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing.
Danny Gray, of Gordon Road, Margate, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a bladed article.
The 29-year-old appeared before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today and was remanded in custody to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, April 8.
The five other people arrested in connection with the incident have all been bailed pending further enquiries.
