Suspected Ramsgate drug dealer appears in court after cannabis and £15,000 seized

A suspected drug dealer has appeared in court after officers seized cannabis and £15,000 in cash from him.

Police were sent to an address in St Augustine's Road, Ramsgate, in the evening last Thursday where they uncovered the drugs and money.

Tomas Gailiunas, of the same road, was arrested and later charged with possessing a class B drug with the intent to supply and possessing criminal property.

The 28-year-old appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court on Monday and was remanded in custody.

He will appear at Canterbury Crown Court on a date to be arranged.

Two other men, a 31-year-old and a 29-year-old, who were also arrested as part of the investigation have been bailed until dates August.
