Teen taken to hospital after assault by group in Wilfred Road, Ramsgate, near railway station

A teenager was taken to hospital after he was assaulted by three other youngsters.

The boy suffered injuries following a verbal altercation with the group in Wilfred Road, Ramsgate, near the town's railway station.

The three suspects were each described as being aged about 18, 5ft 7ins tall and wearing tracksuits.

Two were white and wore masks, and the third suspect was black and wore a Nike tracksuit. He had a slight moustache and dark braided hair.

The victim sustained injuries during the incident on February 27 at about 6.45pm and was taken to hospital.

An 18-year-old man from Ramsgate was arrested on suspicion of assault and released on bail while inquiries continue.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who has CCTV or dashcam footage which might assist enquiries.
