A teenager was taken to hospital after suffering a head injury.

Emergency crews were called to Sanger Close in Margate at about 6.44am yesterday, and the teen was taken to a London hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, in an unrelated incident, police were sent to the report of a fight in the neighbouring Mere Gate at 6.41am.

Officers were dispatched but those involved left the scene.

Inquiries into both remain ongoing.
