Two teenagers were arrested after officers recovered cannabis from a car.

Officers on patrol on Wednesday stopped a car in Victoria Road, Ramsgate.

A search of the vehicle recovered cannabis, as well as weighing scales, other items believed to be associated with drugs, and cash.

Officers also found a suspected taser device in the vehicle.

A 19-year-old man from Ramsgate was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs and possession of an offensive weapon.

A 16-year-old girl from Ramsgate was also arrested in connection with the incident.

They have both been released pending further enquiries.
