Construction work is underway on an "exclusive" £10 million estate overlooking one of Kent's best golf courses.
Eighteen homes - including three penthouses - are being built as part of a gated community at the former Kingsgate College site in Broadstairs.
The high-end complex, which was granted planning permission in March and titled The Fairways, sits beside the coastal North Foreland Golf Club.
The developers - Future Homes - say prices for the swanky apartments will start at £465,000, while the cheapest penthouse will set buyers back £850,000.
Most of the properties will boast a private balcony, while those on the ground floor will feature private gardens.
The site is to comprise of 16 two-bed homes and two three-beds - including three penthouses which will have private rooftop terraces.
The large 1930s building undergoing the conversion into luxury homes was a former language school for Japanese students up until 2018, before it was sold at auction for £3 million.
Kingsgate was the founding campus of Chaucer College when it launched in 1976, with the Canterbury campus then opening in 1992 and Folkestone just a year later.
The Broadstairs site shut down three years ago due to dwindling student numbers, and the Canterbury facility is the only one to remain in operation.
Future Homes say the former Thanet school and grounds off Convent Road are being "meticulously" converted and work is expected to be complete in the coming months, with a show home opening this summer.
The developers state: "Situated just minutes from the gorgeous Kent coast and adjoining the prestigious North Foreland Golf Club, The Fairways is superbly located.
"With a limited number of homes available, buyers are advised to move quickly to avoid disappointment."
Thanet District Council planning officers approved the scheme in March after an application was submitted without objections in May 2020.
The first show home is expected to be complete this summer.
