Margate is one of the hippest areas in the UK, according to a new survey.
Cliftonville and the Old Town come seventh in a list naming the top 20 up and coming destinations.
The judges praised entrepreneurs for starting their own independent shops and excluded places from the list which were run by chains.
It has also been revealed the best place for a caffeine hit is The Greedy Cow.
Broad Street is one of the most Instagrammable places to visit and Cliftonville's Roost is a must for culinary connoisseurs.
Before the judges made their decisions they visited some of the most talked about independent coffee shops and vintage fashion outposts.
TravelSupermarket released the data today after research from the Association of British Travel Agents showed city breaks remain the nation's favourite type of holiday.
The travel comparison website's Emma Coulthurst said: "The survey will hopefully put Margate even more on the map and encourage new and return visitors to the area.
"We scoured the UK to find the most current, independent-feeling neighbourhoods.
"The destinations on the list are exciting areas, unspoiled by commercialism, where locals love to hand out.
"They offer an eclectic range of food and entertainment."
