A pharmacy at the centre of a police raid has reopened today after three people were arrested.
The arrests came after a joint operation between Kent Police and NHS fraud investigators.
The Newington Pharmacy in Newington Road was at the centre of police activity from 9am yesterday morning.
Police spokesman Scarlet Jones said: "In a joint operation between Kent Police and local NHS fraud investigators, three warrants were executed in the Ramsgate area which resulted in the arrests of two men and one woman."
Inquiries by the NHS are said to be ongoing.
Officers were seen taking plastic bags out of the shop all day yesterday.
At the time, the owner of IT Service Centre which is two doors down from the pharmacy, Neil Hopkins said: “Lots of police have been taking everything out in bags all day.
“They have been here since 9am this morning when the pharmacy opened.
“There were a couple of cars already there and they have been coming past all day.
“The alarm didn’t go off and it didn’t look like a break-in."
