Margate: Three arrested on suspicion of assault at train station

Three men have been arrested and released under investigation following an assault which saw one man taken to hospital.

British Transport Police were called to Margate Railway Station at 9.45pm on Saturday night to reports that a man had been assaulted.

A BTP spokesman said: "A 51-year-old man was taken to hospital with injuries which are not thought to be serious.

"Three men, aged 59, 24 and 21, of Margate in Kent, were arrested on suspicion of affray and assaulting a person causing ABH and have been released under investigation as enquiries continue."
