Travellers have once again descended on the car park next to Dreamland.
Police cars were spotted at the council-owned site in Margate this afternoon, where a number of caravans have set up.
Thanet District Council had moved on a group of several caravans from the car park a few weeks ago.
The travellers arrived just after 2pm today. An eyewitness said police and council officers were at the scene.
A council spokesman said: "We are aware of the traveller incursion at the Dreamland car park.
"Police and community safety officers were on site today to complete the required welfare checks.
"As no welfare needs were identified, officers have issued a Section 77 notice requiring them to leave the land forthwith.
"If they do not comply, the council will apply to the court for a full hearing."
