A group of travellers that pitched up at a seaside park last month has been moved.
Thanet District Council has announced that the caravans and cars at the Sunken Gardens in Margate left the plot this morning.
Local authority officers, bailiffs and police were at the scene today after a court order for the travellers' removal was approved.
Four caravans first pitched up at the site on July 19, before six more joined them at the gardens in Westbrook yesterday.
A Thanet District Council spokesman said: "The council submitted an application to court for the removal of the traveller group based at the Sunken Gardens in Westbrook.
"The order was granted and officers from our Community Safety Team were there this morning, with bailiffs and the police on hand, to facilitate their removal."
