A 20-year-old accused of trolling the mother of tragic murder victim Jamie Bulger will stand trial on May 23.

Chloe Cowan faces a charge of stalking Jamie’s mother Denise Fergus by posting messages on Twitter which caused her alarm and distress.

Cowan, formerly of Chichester Road, Ramsgate, but now living in Bracknell, has denied the offence on the grounds of insanity.

She was bailed until her trial.
