Three swimmers are aiming to raise £1,000 for QEQM’s Rainbow children’s ward.
Ruhi Cialis, 17, Emily Sayer, 19, and Matthew Sayer, 16, of Broadstairs Swimming Club have decided to take part in a 12-hour challenge.
It will see them swim 12 miles within the time limit.
Matthew said: “We are swimming for 12 hours to raise money for the children’s ward at QEQM.
“Emily is swimming for them as they did quite a bit for her after she broke her leg when she was six.
“We all want to raise as much money as possible for this worth while cause.”
