Two men have been arrested and a woman was taken to hospital after an “unexplained medical incident”.

Ambulance crews were called to a property in Crescent Road, Margate just after 2pm yesterday.

They alerted police to the incident and an investigation was launched.

A police spokesman said: “We were called by paramedics at 2.08pm yesterday and it was reported that a woman had been taken to hospital following an unexplained medical incident at a property in Crescent Road, Margate.

“Officers later carried out enquiries at the property as part of an ongoing investigation into the circumstances.

“A 44-year-old man, who is known to the woman, was arrested and later bailed in relation to the incident, and a 54-year-old man remains in custody while enquiries continue.”
