Two arrested after Margate High Street assault

Two men have been arrested after a man was left with serious facial injuries in the early hours of this morning.
Police were called to the incident in Margate High Street at 1.39am.
Two men aged 54 and 45 are in custody and a man in his late 20s was taken to hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Kent Police spokesman Vicki Foster said: "Police are investigating an alleged assault in Margate.
"Officers attended the scene in High Street, Margate, following a report that a man aged in his late 20s had been assaulted at 1.39am on Friday, April 29.
"He sustained serious facial injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
"A 54-year-old man and a 45-year-old man, both from Margate were arrested on suspicion of assault and currently remain in police custody."
