Two remanded on prison drugs charges

Two people charged with offences relating to the supply of drugs into a Kent prison have been remanded in custody.
Four people were arrested on Tuesday - each charged with conspiracy to supply drugs into Elmley Prison on the Isle of Sheppey and a second charge of conveying prohibited articles into HMP Elmley.
Two men, 29-year-old Darren Paul Byrne, who is serving time at the prison and 37-year-old Dino Lewis Gillet of Canterbury Road in Westgate-on-Sea have been remanded in custody.
Two women have been bailed. All four will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on June 15
