Firefighters tackling a grass fire have asked neighbours to keep their windows closed due to the smoke.
Six engines and an all-terrain vehicle were called to land off Dane Valley Road, in Margate at 3.35pm.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: "Due to smoke coming from the incident, people living and working nearby are asked to close their windows and doors as a precaution.
"Please share this update with anyone who might not have access to the internet or social media."
In an update, the fire service announced the warning has now been lifted as crews continue to make progress tackling the blaze.
