Ramsgate landmark targeted by vandals

It looks like a scene out of the Johnny Depp film, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
But the green river tumbling from the waterfall in Madeira Walk, Ramsgate, is the result of yet another prank rather than the genius of a chocolatier.
The waterway was targeted by vandals at the start of the year when they squirted it with soap, causing a cascade of bubbles.
The latest attack happened yesterday and contractors from Thanet District Council were sent to the site in the afternoon and removed the substance, which is believed to be non-toxic, from the water.
