Ramsgate: Police appeal for witnesses following attempted robbery in Windmill Avenue

A man in his 90s was one of two men targeted by a masked man in an attempted robbery.

At around 6.10pm on Thursday, November 9, the victims - which also included a man in his 20s - were allegedly approached by a man armed with a knife at a residential property in Windmill Avenue, Ramsgate.

It was reported the man, who is black but was wearing a white face mask, threatened the two and demanded money.

Neither victim was injured during the incident and the man left empty handed.

Police are now appealing for witnesses.

The suspect is described as a black man, with a medium build, around 6ft tall, and spoke with an English accent.

He was wearing a dark jumper and a white face mask.
