A woman in her 80s suffered injuries after being pushed to the ground during a robbery.
The 81-year-old was attacked in an alleyway in Westwood Road, Broadstairs, between 1.20pm and 1.35pm on Tuesday, 6 July.
She was walking towards the ASDA supermarket when she was pulled to the floor and her bag -- which contained £30 and her bus pass -- was snatched.
The woman suffered a number of cuts and grazes and an injury to her knee.
The suspect, who ran away after the robbery, was said to be male and of slight build. He wore a blue top and grey trousers.
DC Roz Friend is investigating the robbery, and said: "This is a callous crime which has left the victim in a great deal of distress. We have already spoken to a number of witnesses and I am confident that others may have important information that will help us further. I would like to ask them to come forward so we can arrest this cowardly, heartless criminal."
