Margate: Nicola Hrickova charged with burglary, fraud and shoplifting

A suspected fraudster accused of going on a thieving spree across Thanet will appear in court later this month.

Nicola Hrickova, 25, was arrested in Grosvenor Place, Margate, last Monday (July 2) and charged with 10 offences.

It is alleged she stole food from a care home in Eaton Road, Margate, on June 2, and five days later swiped cash from a flat in the same road.

On the same day, June 7, she is accused of stealing a tablet computer and bank cards from a house in Marine Gardens, Margate, and using a bank card fraudulently in the town.

The following day she is alleged to have stolen two computers, cash and bank cards from a property in Fitzroy Avenue, Broadstairs.

On June 13 she is accused of attempted burglary at a flat in Margate High Street, and entering a home in Alexandra Terrace, Margate, with intent to steal the following day.

The same day she is also alleged to have stolen a mobile phone, cash and a bank card from a flat in Ford Crescent, Margate, before using a bank card fraudulently on June 18.

The final charge is one of stealing make-up worth £137 from Boots in Margate on July 2.

Hrickova, of no fixed address, has been remanded in custody to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Tuesday, July 31.
