Woman ‘attacked’ by teenage boys on Stagecoach bus between Westwood bus garage and Leopold Street, Ramsgate

A woman was reportedly attacked and repeatedly punched by two teenage boys on a bus.
Police are now investigating claims a young woman was assaulted on a Stagecoach bus in Thanet on Monday afternoon.
The vehicle was travelling between Westwood bus garage and Leopold Street, Ramsgate when the incident took place between 4.25pm and 5.25pm.
It was reported the victim was struck several times in the head by her attackers.
Stagecoach has confirmed the incident happened on one of their vehicles and was reported to police by a driver.
A spokesperson for the bus company said: “We can confirm there was an incident on board a bus in the area of Leopold Street in Ramsgate at about 4.30pm on Monday.
“Our driver reported this to the police at the time.
“Our first thoughts are for the young person who was the victim of this attack, and we will be giving every assistance we can to the police investigation.
A police spokesperson said: “We are investigating a report that a woman was assaulted by two teenage boys while on a bus.”
