Ramsgate woman Donna Elizabeth Valentine receives suspended sentence at Thanet Magistrates Court

A woman has received a suspended jail sentence after pleading guilty to shoplifting, criminal damage and fraud.
Donna Valentine, of Trinity Place, Ramsgate, was sentenced to 84 days in prison suspended for 18 months.
On three occasions the 32-year-old received stolen goods including a Kindle Fire and a purse containing bank cards.
Valentine then used a bank card belonging to someone else six times at shops in Margate totalling more than £110.
On April 9 she stole £300 of cash from an arcade in Margate and caused £670 of damage to arcade machines.
After failing to surrender to bail on May 5, Valentine appeared at Thanet Magistrates Court on June 9, where she was also handed a six month curfew.
She must remain at home between 8pm and 8am daily until December 8, this year.
Valentine was also ordered to pay £485 compensation, £85 costs and an £80 victim surcharge.
