A pregnant woman has been rescued after her car went backwards over the quayside at a harbour.
The accident happened on the sea-front in Ramsgate at around 6.40pm and police, paramedics and the lifeboat were called.
The car appeared to have reversed over the quayside onto a pontoon.
Firefighters used a special winch to secure the car while they climbed down onto the pontoon and took the driver to safety.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters are waiting for a crane to arrive at the jetty to retrieve the car.
The coastguard and KFRS' water safety unit were also sent but not required.
