Margate: Woman on mobility scooter robbed of purse and two other men assaulted in Addington Street

A woman on a mobility scooter was taken to hospital after she was robbed of her purse in Margate.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the victim, in her 40s, was attacked in Addington Street between 8.30am and 9am on Wednesday.
A man in his 70s, who was walking alongside the woman, was also assaulted.
Another man who tried to intervene was then attacked, before the suspect ran off towards Union Row.
The woman - who was taken to hospital as a precaution - had her purse containing cash and cards stolen.
A 27-year-old man from Chatham was arrested today in connection with the incident and remains in police custody.
