A group of reckless teens were caught vandalising multiple cars and kicking off wing mirrors along a main road late at night.
The trio of youths, aged about 15, were seen by witnesses and victims damaging the vehicles along the A28 in Westgate-on-Sea.
One person targeted by the yobs, who struck just before 1am on Thursday, was Hayley Maria Krüger.
She told KentOnline: "It's so upsetting that they feel it is OK to just destroy others' property, and know they will get away with it.
"We actually had a car accident just before Christmas, so this was the only car we had to use.
"My husband was supposed to take his daughter back to Hertfordshire yesterday, but couldn't drive the car with no mirrors.
"We had to ask a friend to take her home."
The 43-year-old was alerted to the crime when her daughter heard the smashing outside.
"We ran out and saw that both wing mirrors had been ripped off our car and our neighbours had been damaged," she said.
"It's been an especially hard year and the extra cost is so difficult."
Ms Krüger added: "They took the mirrors clean off and threw them in the road."
Nicola Jane's car was also targeted, and she caught the youths in the act on CCTV.
She told KentOnline: "We feel sickened that about this mindless act of violence when our cars were parked outside our own houses.
"We work hard for our things and they have come along without a care in the world and did this for a laugh, without any remorse."
A police spokesperson said: "We attended Canterbury Road, Westgate-on-Sea on Thursday December 29, after it was reported at 12.55am that two boys and a girl had been seen damaging two cars.
"One of the boys is said to have been wearing a royal blue hooded top and the other was wearing a grey puffer-style coat, with a bag across his shoulder.
"Anyone with information should call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/247792/22."
