Former Gillingham midfielder Charlie Allen scored two second half goals as Margate came from behind to beat Met Police 2-1 at Hartsdown Park on Tuesday night.

Allen, the Margate captain, equalised in the 48th minute after he fired home his 10th goal of the season from the middle of the box.
He chalked up his 11th 11 minutes later after his deflected shot beat Met Police goalkeeper Stuart Searle.
It was Margate’s fifth consecutive win and keeps them second on the table, two points behind leaders Maidstone, who were 3-1 winners at Witham.
