Margate defenders Charlie Wassmer and Sam Rents have both agreed new deals with the Thanet club.
Twenty four-year-old Wassmer, has penned a new two year contract keeping him at Hartsdown Park until the end of the 2016-17.
The former Crawley and Cambridge United defender joined Gate from Hayes and Yeading in February last year.
Rents has signed a new one-year deal, committing his future to the club, having been one of Brown's first signings when he moved from Sutton United in January 2014
Brown said: "I am delighted that both players have signed new deals despite interest from other clubs.
“Signing them was key to our plans, and both are keen to continue their journey on this project with Margate, and a lot of credit must go to them for that”.
“Building a strong defence is vital to what we want to achieve this season and having both Charlie and Sam in our squad certainly goes a long way to achieving that. They both had excellent seasons last year and I am sure we will see much of the same again from them."
