For the fourth year in a row, the River Centre in Tonbridge played host to a unique technology exhibition.
Over 30 exhibitors from a variety of backgrounds put on activities at the TeenTech 2014 event in partnership with Kent company, EBP.
From 14 minutes table top experiences, to 30 minute challenges that delved deeper and asked students to solve industry-specific problems, visitors were greeted with a variety of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) projects.
300 key stage 3 students from 30 Kent schools were able to rotate around a carousel of zones, where designing the next popular app was complemented by dancing robots.
'Mind controlled' car simulators sat comfortably next to liquid nitrogen leaving just enough room to manoeuvre between demonstrations of Xbox gadgetry and tablet technology.
Both local and national businesses, including Samsung and Microsoft, came together in a bid to provide an interactive platform where students were not just told what happens, but got to have a go on a feast of activities.
CEO of EBP Kent said: “This event is an early highlight to the academic year, the employers go to tremendous efforts to give the young people a lively inspiring experience of the world of Science Technology, Engineering and Maths.
"EBP Kent is delighted to be the Kent partner for TeenTech, giving the county’s young people a National view of the latest technologies."
