WITH three half brothers and two half sisters, the Kelly Holmes celebratory bus was bursting with relatives.
Half brother Danny Lewis, 19, who lives in Tunbridge Wells in his mum's house, said: "This is overwhelming, I can't believe the number of people who have turned out for Kelly."
Stuart Norris, 24, from Tonbridge, admitted he wasn't prepared for her double Olympic triumph.
He said: "I expected her to do well in the 800 and perhaps take a medal, but not to win.
"It was fantastic when she did and then I was confident she would do the 1500 and take gold."
Kelly's third half brother Kevin Norris, 27, took his place on the top of the bus with wife, Clare, 26. The couple from Tunbridge Wells were thrilled to be a part of Kelly's day.
Sister-in-law Clare said: "This is amazing. You don't expect this sort of reception for one person in one town."
Kelly's half sister Lisa Lewis, 32, lives in Tunbridge Wells with her partner Dion Massey, 31, and their daughter Honey, 20 months.
Lisa said: "It's almost like she's royalty with all these people shouting and cheering her on."
Kelly's youngest half-sister, Penny Thomson, 15, a pupil at Hillview School in Tonbridge, said: "We didn't realise how many people would turn out."
