A21 Tonbridge to Pembury improvement work postponed
10:00, 18 September 2015
Overnight closures planned on the A21 have now been postponed.
The road was due to be shut in both directions between Quarry hill and Longfield Roundabout between 8pm and 6am on Sunday.
They have now been postponed until a later date.
Major works are taking place to improve the carriageway running between Tonbridge and Pembury.
A lane is being added in each direction and junctions are being improved.
It aims to make journeys on the A21 safer and more reliable and deliver a fivefold return on investment for the UK economy.
Aerial photos showing progress were released earlier this year.
