Cyclists can take advantage of the latest opportunity to have their bikes security marked for free this weekend.
Officers will be offering the completely free service allowing vistors to not only get their bikes marked, but get advice on security as well as guidance and tips.
More than 80 people showed up at the last security marking event held in June and this weekend’s initiative is expected to prove as popular.
The event in Tonbridge is being held at the High Street shop, Cycles UK, on Saturday July 19 between 10am and 4pm.
PC Joe Breen said: "Bike marking doesn’t take long to do and it is an effective way of increasing the chances of having a lost or stolen bike reunited with you.
"This is third event we have held of its kind in as many months, which means that the number of bikes in the area that are security marked is steadily rising.
"Quite simply, this is making Tonbridge an increasingly hard area for thieves to operate in."
