Fire on cruiser alight on River Medway at Tonbridge

Fire crews were called to put out a blaze which destroyed a 25ft cruiser on the River Medway.
Firefighters attended just after 8pm last night to the river near Cannon Lane, Tonbridge.
The blaze created a large plume of smoke visible across the town.
Crews used a water safety launch and used a high-pressure hose reel to put out the flames, but were unable to save the vessel which sank.
Police are treating the fire as suspicious.
