Boy arrested following Tonbridge armed robbery

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery.
The arrest was made on Thursday, August 22, following a police hunt the day before.
Armed officers were called to the Golden Green area of Tonbridge shortly before 5pm after he threatened two people with a weapon.
Neither of the victims were seriously injured and both are believed to be known to the suspect.
Witnesses reported seeing at least four cars and armed officers at nearby at Tonbridge Railway Station.
One witness said he saw other vehicles in River Lawn Road near to Slade School.
The boy, from London, remains in police custody while the investigation continues.
