AN UNDERGROUND cable fault is interrupting power supplies to about 20 shops and businesses in Tonbridge high street this lunchtime.
Seeboard are excavating a small section of the pavement at the junction of Castle Street to carry out repairs to the cable fault which occurred earlier this morning, cutting power to the crossing lights in the high street outside the Chequers Pub and Tonbridge School.
The affected shops and businesses are located in the area of the town near Tonbridge Castle and will have no power until approximately 2pm this afternoon.
Seeboard have issued a statement apologising to customers affected by this interruption to service.
