Firefighters tackled a blaze that started in a car in Tonbridge this afternoon.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called to Hectorage Road at 4.14pm to reports of a car on fire in a driveway.

Thick black smoke was seen rising from the area by members of the public in Morley Road.

Firefighters left the scene at 4.30pm after extinguishing the fire, that is not thought to be suspicious.
