Fire crews have attended a car fire outside a school this afternoon.

One appliance was called to Tonbridge High Street after the car was seen alight on the opposite side of the road to Tonbridge School at 2.41pm.

It took them just under half an hour to put the blaze out.

Police were also called to the scene.
