Hairdresser Lee Stafford opens own hair academy at North Kent College's Tonbridge campus

Celebrity hairdresser Lee Stafford formally opened an academy for those wishing to follow in his footsteps at North Kent College.
Lee answered questions from hairdressers and barbers of the future while delivering an on-stage demo of some of his award-winning styling techniques at the Tonbridge campus, in Brook Street on Monday. March 6
The renowned stylist said: “My passion has always been education and my purpose now is to send the elevator back down for the next generation of talent so you too can live a life of passion.”
The hairdressing academy is already offered at North Kent College's Dartford and Gravesend campuses.
Assistant principal for North Kent College, Stacie Collings, said: “It's fantastic to see the opening of the Lee Stafford Academy at our North Kent College Tonbridge Campus."
The Lee Stafford Academy offers state-of-the-art hairdressing and barbering training, with a focus on providing students with the skills and confidence to become successful in the industry and is equipped with the latest equipment and products.
The academy is supported by a team of experienced hairdressers and barbers who have the knowledge and expertise to provide the best training and experience.
North Kent College’s Lee Stafford Education salons are the only affiliated salons in Kent and south east London and there are only nine across the UK.
