Driver rescued after car drives into ditch in East Peckham

A driver in his 70s was rescued by fire crews after his car left the road and plunged into a ditch.
Rescuers removed the roof of the man's car and pulled him to safety.
The incident took place on the A228 at East Peckham, near Tonbridge. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
The driver was placed on a spinal board and taken to an ambulance.
He was then taken to hospital for treatment while fire crews remained at the scene dealing with the car.
