Plans have been submitted to build 14 new homes on land formerly occupied by a doctor's surgery.
It is proposed that the building in Pembury Road, Tonbridge, which was once home to the Tonbridge Medical Group would be demolished to make way for the apartment building.
The application for planning permission submitted to Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council by Quantum Land And Planning proposes 12 two-bedroom flats and two with three bedrooms.
There would also be one allocated parking space per flat, as well as secure storage for 10 bicycles within the four-storey building itself.
In response to the application, one neighbour in Pembury Road has opposed the scheme on the grounds that there is not sufficient parking nearby for the flats and any visitors to them.
Construction of Tonbridge Medical Group's new primary care centre in River Lawn was completed in December and the doctors and nursing staff were able to move in shortly after.
The centre has a range of consulting and treatment rooms, a pharmacy and an ambulance bay. It replaces both the former surgery earmarked for demolition in Pembury Road and one in Higham Lane.
Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council provided the land for the new medical centre.
A decision on the proposed flats is expected to be made by May 20.
