Tonbridge: Gym to blossom in new premises
12:00, 28 August 2015
A Tonbridge gym will open a state-of-the-art facility in a new development.
The Strength and Conditioning Institute (SCI) will move into Blossom Bank, - a 3,500 square foot premises - on Cannon Lane and will allow the popular gym to double in size from October.
SCI, currently of Avebury Avenue, has been offering services to customers since opening its doors in late 2012.
Run by National Level coaches, Martin Shyvers and Alex Shoebridge, the new facility will boast an 800 square foot dedicated functional conditioning area and a 1500 square foot strength training area.
The gym's equipment has been designed to the specifications of Mr Shyvers and Shoebridge.
The relocation to Blossom Bank will allow the gym to provide services including professional personal training, gym membership, group training classes, eight week body transformation programmes, nutritional profiling and physiotherapy.
"We’re delighted to be expanding the business on such a scale" - Alex Shoebridge
Mr Shoebridge said: “We opened in 2012 knowing there was a gap in the market for a world class training facility offering the quality of information and training that the SCI has become known for.
"The last three years has absolutely proven that, and we’re delighted to be expanding the business on such a scale.
Mr Shyvers, said: “This brand new building is exactly what Tonbridge needs. We are dedicated to improving the health of every single person who walks into The SCI, and we are incredibly excited to be able to offer our services to so many more people in our new premises.”
