Man, 24, from Tonbridge, dies in motorcycle crash in Crowborough

A motorcyclist has been killed in a crash.
The 24-year-old from Tonbridge died when his motorcycle collided with a silver Ford Fusion being driven by a 70-year-old woman yesterday afternoon.
The accident happened on the A26, south of Crowborough in Sussex, shortly before 3pm.
The victim was riding a red and black Suzuki GSXR along with a group of other motorcyclists when tragedy struck.
An air ambulance landed at nearby Crowborough Beacon golf course, but the motorcyclist died at the scene.
The road was closed both ways for around six hours.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have seen the group of motorcyclists heading north on the A26 in the time leading up to it, to email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting Operation Drape.
It comes after another young motorcyclist, Ollie Jennings, died in a crash in Chattenden near Rochester in the early hours of yesterday.
