Elvis's dental crown comes to dentist's in Tonbridge
00:01, 27 May 2014
A dental practice will be all shook up later today when it plays host... to the King's crown.
A model of Elvis Presley's teeth - together with a genuine dental crown made for the singing legend - is on tour of the UK as part of a campaign to promote mouth cancer awareness.
The crown was made for the star by former Memphis dentist Henry J Weiss.
It is thought Elvis had toothache just before he died after a visit to his dentist the night before his death.
Now the ‘King’s Crown’ as it is known, will visit a Tonbridge dental practice, complete with Elvis memorabilia, music... and staff in Elvis costumes.
Colleagues at Hanover House Dental Clinic in the high street will offer free mouth cancer screenings in a bid to slash the nearly 2,000 deaths in the UK from oral cancer in 2010.
