Tonbridge: Man handed suspended sentence after stealing iPhone

A man has avoided jail after stealing an iPhone from a Tonbridge store.
On August 4 David King stole the phone, worth £360, from a shop in the High Street.
The 37-year-old, of Cumberland Avenue, Canterbury, pleaded guilty to shoplifting.
Magistrates sentenced King to 90 days in prison, suspended for 12 months. He must also pay a £150 criminal courts charge, £85 costs and a £80 victim surcharge.
