A man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent after an assault in Tonbridge.
Police officers and ambulance crews were called to Angel Lane just after 7pm on Monday to reports of the incident.
Paramedics treated a man in his 30s for head and facial injuries. He was taken to King's College Hospital in London.
Luckasz Symczak, 27, of no fixed abode, was arrested shortly after on suspicion of assault.
He has now been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and is in the process of being remanded to court.
The man's injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
