Man in court after money and tobacco taken from Trench Road, Tonbridge

A man has been charged after money and tobacco were reported stolen from a Tonbridge home.
Police were called to the property in Trench Road on Tuesday, January 28, where the goods had been taken during an aggravated burglary.
Lee Murphy, of Bondfield Close, Tunbridge Wells, was arrested in connection with the burglary on Friday, July 24.
He was then charged with burglary, possession of an offensive weapon and assaulting a police officer.
The 22-year-old appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court today and was remanded in custody until his next appearance on August 21.
