A middle-aged man had his head stamped on in a brutal late-night attack at a Tonbridge kebab shop.

The victim, aged in his 50s, was punched to the ground and repeatedly kicked following a row at Kebab Express in Quarry Road.

The "altercation" broke out as the victim and suspect stood at the shop counter at around 2.15am on Saturday.

He suffered cuts and bruises to his face and also lost a tooth in the assault.

Police have now issued CCTV images of a man they want to speak to.

He is described as white, of average build and possibly aged in his 40s.

He was wearing glasses and was clean shaven, with short receding hair.

He is believed to have been wearing decorating clothes and may possibly be working in the local area.

The clothing is described as a blue hooded top with a white emblem, green bottoms - possibly with paint stains on - and dark Adidas trainers.

It is reported the man was with two other men, possibly friends, at the time of the incident.

One of these men is described as having a goatee beard and moustache and wearing a black baseball cap along with an Adidas tracksuit top and bottoms.

The other man wore a dark hooded top with Russell Athletic written on it.
